Chena walked toward a lonely spot at the edge of the herd. She sighed. "Soon enough." She said grazing.

He smiled as all horses were there and he snorted. He watched the foals playing and the mares grazing. Making sure, his herd was safe.

Chena lifted her head at the sound of a distant whinnie. A sent hit her nose. "Uh oh" She mumbled as the group of stallions galloped toward te herd.

Slash pricked his ears forward and lifted his head at the sound of a distant whinny. He smelled the air and watched as the other horses looked back in suprise. He saw what looked like another horse, then another. He reared and cantered down to see these horses.

Chena snorted at the band of stallions. She whinnied to the herd, "Get in the trees!" She said trotting toward them.

Slash found that they were stallions and slid to a stop, waiting for them to make a move on him.
