Slash trotted after her and slid to a sudden stop whe he smelt something unfamiliar. he smelled the air, and smelled a stallion. He gave a glance to Chena then pinned his ears back and curled his lip, showing his teeth. He ran to chase off the stallion.

Chena glared at the stallion. She sighed as he was run off. She started to walk to the lake again.

Slash ran up to the bachelor stallion and reared. His black body was taller than this young stud's. He snorted when he came down into the stallion's face and bit his neck. Slash brought him down to the ground then reared, threatening to land on him. The bachelor looked up in shock and rolled over just before Slash landed. The bachelor kicked SLash in the mouth and Slash reared up on the stallion, striking at his face. He got him pretty good, and the bachelor ran off.

Chena rolled her eyes and drank some water. She looked up and on the other side of the lake a whole bachelor group was watching her. She looked at Slash.

Slash snorted and cantered around the herd, making sure everyone was there

Chena swam in the lake. The cool water cooling her warm coat.

He stood up on a hill, watching his heard. He began to wonder about Chena. Pretty long drink...he thought. He gave a soft neigh to the mares to let them know he was off to find the leadmare. He sprang into a fast canter. He knew she'd be at the lake.

He put an ear back and tilted his head. Where was she going? He looked up and squinted, seeing bachelors. His eyes widened in shock and he reared, bellowing a loud roaring neigh. He landed and pawed the ground. He didn't like swimming because of past experiences. He tried to find a way to get to her.

Chena's ears twitched, Was that him? She wondered walked the other way.
