Rain was grazing in the field when she had sharp kicks one right after another. Her eyes flashed with fear. Then she dropped to the ground.

The baby kicked and kicked its way out. A few minutes later, a little tiny foal plopped out onto the grass. Rain whinnied for Spirit too come see his new daughter.
